In previous years, we have printed and posted a hard copy to every member all over the world. While we understand the value of a physical document, we have been reviewing our processes and the associated costs. We’re excited to announce that Northern Lights, the Durham University mixed A Cappella group of singers, will be joining us for a special fundraising concert on Saturday 6th June 2026. The group are current National Champions, seven- time National Champions and ….we’re very excited to announce …. this year Northern Lights represented the UK at the International A Cappella contest (ICCAs) and were placed second in the finals in New York. Join us for the Friends Festival Day as we celebrate all the things Friends of Durham Cathedral. In the morning, members are invited to join us for our annual AGM in Chapter House. Festival Day events include Lunch, Organ Recital, Tours, Afternoon Refreshments and Festal Choral Evensong and Procession and concludes the service with the choir singing from the top of the tower!
