Friends' Christmas Concert - Tickets are now on sale!

We’re delighted to announce that our friends at Rock Choir North East, Consett Citadel Salvation Army Band and the voices of Durham Cathedral Young Singers are all set to return for our annual Christmas Concert and there’s something for everyone!

This year 140 members of Rock Choir across Durham and the North East will sing a range of Christmas classics and twists on contemporary 'pop' songs to get you feeling festive. Get ready for a performance full of joy, passion and energy to make you want to sing and dance along.

Who doesn't love a brass band, especially at Christmas!

Did you know that Consett Citadel Salvation Army was the first Salvation Army Corps (church) Band - founded in 1879! This year they will celebrate their 147th anniversary and will be performing for us once again. With stirring arrangements that warms your heart, they will also accompany our festive carol-singing.

The new generation of Durham Cathedral Young Singers are amazing to see and hear. Those that have attended our concert before will have watched with amazement how the children progress each year. We can't wait to see and hear the next generation of stars as they have their moment in the spotlight.

So come along and join the Friends and celebrate the festive season at our Friends’ Christmas Concert at Durham Cathedral.
